This Privacy Policy describes how Quiz&Cash ("we", "us", "our", or the "App") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information about you when you use our mobile application. Quiz&Cash is a quiz trivia app where users answer questions across categories, compete in 1v1 battles, earn wallet rewards, claim daily streaks, use referral codes, and request withdrawals of accumulated earnings.
By downloading, installing, or using Quiz&Cash, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to provide and improve Quiz&Cash's features.
a. Information you provide directly
- Account information: mobile phone number (verified via OTP), display name, profile photo (optional), and a unique referral code assigned to your account.
- Gameplay data: quiz categories played, questions answered (correct/wrong/timeout), scores, levels, streak counts, battle results, and battle rating.
- Wallet & transaction data: wallet balance, earnings history, referral bonuses, streak rewards, ad rewards, and withdrawal requests.
- Withdrawal details: UPI ID or bank account information you submit when requesting a payout (processed only for fulfilling your withdrawal).
- Referral information: referral codes you enter or share, and records of successful referrals.
- Support communications: messages, feedback, or reports you send to us.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device & technical info: device model, operating system version, app version, language preference, time zone, unique app instance identifiers, and crash logs.
- Usage data: features used, screens visited, actions taken (e.g. "quiz completed", "battle joined"), session duration — used in aggregated, non-identifying form for analytics.
- Diagnostic data: error logs and performance data to help us identify and fix bugs.
- Advertising identifiers: on supported devices, an advertising ID may be used to serve and measure ads (see Section 8).
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and authenticate you via phone OTP.
- Provide core features: quizzes, battles, wallet, leaderboard, referrals, and daily streaks.
- Calculate and credit rewards for correct answers, level-ups, battles, streaks, referrals, and rewarded ads.
- Process withdrawal requests and maintain transaction history.
- Display your display name, level, score, and rank on the public leaderboard.
- Match you with opponents of similar skill level in quiz battles.
- Serve banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements.
- Improve the App through anonymized analytics and crash diagnostics.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, cheating, or policy violations.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / DPDP)
Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract: processing necessary to provide the App and pay rewards you earn.
- Consent: for optional features such as profile photos, notifications, and personalized ads where required.
- Legitimate interests: to secure our service, prevent fraud/cheating, and improve features.
- Legal obligation: when required by law (e.g. financial record-keeping for withdrawals).
Sharing & Disclosure
Some data is shared by design to operate the App:
- Public leaderboard: your display name, level, total score, and rank are visible to other players on the leaderboard.
- Battle opponents: during a 1v1 battle, your display name and live score are visible to your opponent.
- With service providers: we share limited data with vetted third parties that help us run the App (see Section 5).
- For legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public.
- Business transfers: if Quiz&Cash is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred — you will be notified before any change applies.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing.

The App uses the following trusted third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy:

Device Permissions
The App may request the following Android permissions. Each is used only for the stated purpose, and you can revoke optional permissions in your device settings.
- Internet / Network state: to sync data, load quizzes, and process withdrawals.
- Photos / Media (optional): to pick a profile picture from your gallery.
- Notifications (optional): to alert you about streak reminders, battle invites, and withdrawal updates.
Wallet & Withdrawals
Quiz&Cash tracks virtual wallet balances earned through gameplay. When you request a withdrawal, you provide a UPI ID or bank account details. We use this information solely to process your payout. We do not store full debit/credit card numbers. Withdrawals are subject to a minimum balance (currently ₹50) and may be reviewed for fraud prevention before processing.
Advertising
Quiz&Cash displays ads through Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads (e.g. before daily streak claims), and rewarded video ads (optional, to earn bonus wallet credits). AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show relevant ads. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings. On iOS, you may be asked to allow or deny app tracking for personalized ads.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure operated by Google Cloud / Firebase. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and authentication tokens.
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your phone secure and signing out from shared devices.
Data Retention
- We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active.
- Wallet and withdrawal records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes even after account deletion, as required by law.
- If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, fraud-prevention, or financial obligations.
- Anonymized analytics may be retained longer as they no longer identify you.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, India's DPDP Act, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data (you can edit your display name in the App).
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing (e.g. personalized ads).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your Quiz&Cash account at any time. See our dedicated Delete Account page for the full process, including:
- By email: send a deletion request from your registered phone number's associated contact email to pktiwari110487@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my Quiz&Cash account". Include your registered phone number and display name.
Account deletion permanently removes your profile, wallet balance (unwithdrawn amounts may be forfeited), gameplay history, and referral records. Your leaderboard entry is removed. Deletion is completed within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Quiz&Cash is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at pktiwari110487@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including on Google Cloud servers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of Quiz&Cash after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
